FUE Hair Transplant

Hair transplant is one of the most popular aesthetic operations nowadays. DHI (Direct Hair Transplant)

DHI is a more advanced FUE hair transplant method. The hair grafts are extracted like regular hair transplant operations however the implantation of the grafts is made with special DHI pens. DHI method increases the grafts survival rates in comparison to regular hair transplant surgeries because it decreases the trauma for the grafts and the amount of time that the hair follicles spend outside of the body. Furthermore, the newest ‘Easy DHI’ method offers more advancements because with ‘Easy DHI’ the grafts can be automatically loaded into the implantation pens. ‘Easy DHI’ decreases the trauma even further which leads to even higher graft survival rates.

Hair Transplant Timeline:

 
  • Days 1-14: There can be a mild swelling after the operation for 3 days. The post-operation redness is generally gone by the first week. The scabs are expected to fall off in 14 days.
  • Days 14-90: After three weeks you will start to shed your implanted hair which is a totally normal process. The implanted hair goes into the Telogen phase in which a temporary shedding is normal.
  • 6-8 Months: After the shedding period, newly transplanted hair follicles start to produce new hair after the telogen phase. The new hair might not grow evenly, and this time frame differentiates person to person but eventually all of the implanted hair will grow. Towards the 8th month after the operation, the most rapid hair growth would be observed.
  • 12-15 Months: Around a full year after the operation the results of the hair transplant surgery start to finalize. The final result and difference observed after 12 months for the front and middle parts. On the other hand, the full growth of the crown (vertex) area can take around 15 months.
